Chicago teachers to strike starting Monday

NBC NewsThe Chicago Teachers Union and Chicago Public Schools, the country’s third-largest school district, failed to reach an agreement Sunday on a new contract. Chicago Teachers Union teachers will be on strike starting Monday.

David Vitale, Chicago School Board president, said earlier that more than 20 offers were made to the teachers during the negotiation process in the last four days.
