Forbes: German Chancellor Angela Merkel named world’s most powerful woman
Forbes: On Wednesday Forbes released its list of the 100 most powerful women in the world. The list recognizes women who fill traditional power roles in politics and economics, while also making note of women who are powerful in a social and cultural sense. 
Taking the top spot for the second year in a row is German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Rounding out the top three are US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Brazil’s president, Dilma Rousseff.
